Another wasted opportunity in The Amazing Spider Man 2 and something of a bizarre bookend to the actual, central events of the movie itself, Rhino would have been mentioned earlier on in this list were it not for the fact that Paul Giamatti gives it his all in what is a largely thankless role. The idea of Giamatti, better known for gentler, more indie focused fare like Sideways and American Splendor, would transform into a crazed, tattoo laden, bank robbing Russian sounded fantastic prior to the films release.
